We are saddened by the news to hear the passing of Dan Melie. Dan has committed a tremendous amount of time and passion to the Organization. Heading the Learn to Play Program, a player’s love for Hockey started with Dan. Even when Dan was no longer a players coach, he’d go out of his way to give a player a few tips or just a simple hello. Dan’s father knew how much joy teaching Clinton’s youth meant to him. Dan’s family, in his Father’s honor started the Dan Melie fund. This fund ensures any player who wants to play hockey has the ability to do so. Dan’s legacy will live on through all he has taught his players and has given to our organization. Thank you for all you have done Coach. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.
